We are delighted to announce that Ron Ritchie will be returning as our 2009 adult program speaker. Ron is a gifted teacher with almost four decades in full-time pastoral and conference ministry, including 27 years as a pastor and evangelist at Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto, California. His Spirit-led, grace-focused insights into the Bible as well as his own authentic, adventurous walk as a disciple of Jesus will encourage and challenge you in your own faith journey.
Morning Sessions
The morning program begins at 9:20, giving you plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast with family and friends beforehand. The sessions typically include the following:
Worship
Testimony--an individual or couple takes a few minutes to share about an aspect of his/her spiritual journey.
Main Speaker--the largest portion of the morning is devoted to the speaker.
Coffee Break
Small group discussion-- Friendships naturally blossom when adults meet in groups of 8-12 to discuss application of the morning message.
Evening Sessions
The evening program begins at 7:00pm, and includes the following elements:
Worship
Main Speaker (one or two evenings)
or
Ministry Night (one or two evenings)
One or two evenings are devoted to practical topics such as sharing Christ in your neighborhood or marriage enrichment.
Afternoon workshops
Optional afternoon workshops may include a Q&A with the Main Speakers, men's or women's groups, or topical studies.
Couples' Day
Always a highlight, Wednesday morning is Adult Free Time, with no adult program scheduled. Youth programs remain in session, giving you some free time to
spend with your sweetie or with other adults.
Take a stroll in the forest...drive to a nearby beach...check out the eclectic shopping of Santa Cruz..the possiblities are endless!
If you choose, you can arrange for private babysitting in the afternoon and spend a whole glorious day on an outing.
